Third year fail!

Well she did it again! My mum is convinced that May 24 is my blogiversary, and it is not! We missed it again for the third year in a row! Seriously woman, pull it together!

We've been having some fun lately, including finding a new swimming hole! We found it by accident while we were out for a drive and we can't believe it's only 5 minutes from our house!

Bailey and I have also been having a ball playing in his yard. His gotcha day was May 5th so we went over to celebrate and we brought my left over birthday cake to share. It's hard to believe that one year ago he was so little I could step over him!

When his Moms adopted him, the SPCA told them he was probably a lab / Shepard mix. But his vet says he is probably part Great Dane. Lol. I don't think he is done growing yet!

So the brat has moved on to finger foods! This is good news for me. I help Mum with the clean up all the time. I've had more peas this week than I know what to do with. Mum thought it would be fun to take a picture of us together the other day on our walk. We went down to the field and Mum snapped this pic of the two of us.

Aren't I cute? The kid was trying to tell me how to pose! Pishaw! I was doin this before you were a twinkle, son!

Well time for bed Blogville! See you 'round the neighborhood.

Birthday Boy

Hey Blogville, I am 4 years old today!

I've been a busy boy the last little while. You see back in March I went to camp for a week. Which was awesome! They had this cool egg toy that I loved, and they hooked me up with some spa treatments! Mum and the kid were gone for another week so there was a whole week of Papa and I hangin out doing guy stuff.... Napping and scratching mostly.

Two weeks later, after the fam was all back, G-Ma came to visit. She was here for a whole month. I love when she comes cause we spend lots of time together out on the patio. She even spreads my blanket on the love seat for me. We also did a little bit of exploring. This lake is only 5 km from our house and I've never been here before ... Nice going Mum!

Mums not a complete let down though .... She made this awesome cake for me today. Peanut butter carrot with apple sauce. Delicious! There are a couple pieces left so I might have to invite my buddy Bailey over to help finish it off. ( I forgot to tell you guys that Bailey moved closer to my house and we have play dates a lot more often now. )

Oh and that egg I told you about .... They got me one of my very own.

Thanks brat!

Later friends!

I'm a model

Oh hey! What did you all do today? Oh me! Ya know, the usual .... Slept, ate, went for a walk .... Oh wait... Yeah I went for a photoshoot at Fur Photography! That's right, I went modeling.

Ian, the pawtographer, emailed my Mum last week. He is an artist and photographer in Vancouver, BC and he is venturing into Pet Photography. He is just starting out with four legged models, but we know he will be really successful 'cause my photos are awesome!

We drove into the city and went to his studio in Gas Town. He was really nice, and he had great treats .... Which is always a good way to make friends!

Our shoot only lasted about half an hour and that was more than enough time for him to capture my handsomeness.

If your people want to have your photograph taken, tell them you want to see Ian!

You can check him out here:

And coming soon at :

Later furends! Thanks Ian!

Lady Godiva

Allo allo!
We had a little excitement this week!

We were on our way to see Dr Z, and at the top of our street we saw a puppy! A chocolate lab puppy! All by herself!

Mum stopped the car and got out to check on her and she came running. We didn't recognize her, and she wasn't wearing a collar, it was cold out and there was no one around. So Mum did the only thing she could think of! She scooped her up and put her in the car.

We went home and grabbed a little collar and a leash and we all got back in the car.

By now Mum was calling her Godiva, cause she was very sweet and the color of really nice chocolate and naked when we found her. She was cold and tired and she laid down on the front seat and went to sleep. I laid down on the back seat with baby brother. She slept all the way to Dr. Z's place, about an hour.

When we got there, Mum asked them to check her for a microchip but there was no luck. They checked her over and said she was healthy and in good shape and wished us luck in finding her people. It was obvious she's been we'll taken care of and she was a very good girl.

She slept all the way home. When we got back home we took a drive around the neighborhood and asked a bunch of people if they new who her people might be. No one did. Papa was at work and he wanted Mum to take her to the SPCA, but she wasn't really into that idea. One neighbor offered to take her until her people could be found, but we decided to first take another trip through the neighborhood to see if a poster had been put up near the mail shed where people often post notices.

Just as we turned the corner we saw a lady walking a puppy who looked just like Godiva, she was looking all around and calling for someone. We stopped and asked if she was looking for a puppy, and she was. When Mum took Godiva out of the car she saw her brother and got all excited. She was home!

Turns out they had let her out in their fenced yard and they didn't realize she could fit under the fence! Luckily it all had a happy ending.

Mum was kind of sad for her though. We live in a small subdivision, and we know all the dogs or atleast where they live and we had never seen her before, even though she lives right next door to our friend Coady the German Shepard. We haven't seen her since. Coady's dad knew the people had gotten a puppy but had never actually met her. We are hoping she is getting all the exercise she needs.... And they get her a collar with some tags!

Pure Athleticism

Hey-oh!
Wow what an afternoon I had! Mum and Dad (and the kid) took me down to the field. I haven't run like that in sooooo long!

When it's bright and sunny and cool like today I can't help but feel the friskies! And when I am frisky I run like a gazelle! A barrel chested, short legged, handsome mugged gazelle.

I had so much fun, and then on the way home we met a new kid on the block, a 6 month old bully named Hunter. I hope I run into again when his dad has time to let us play. This brings a total of 7 bullies in our neighborhood.

Well furiends, time for bed. I hope you all had a great day.
